We live in an era where we have become accustomed to
depending on antibiotics and have seriously abused their
usage. Over indulgence has rendered them ineffective in
many instances against common diseases to which medical
science had previously issued a death sentence. We now find
ourselves locked in what threatens to become one of the
greatest battles for survival, mankind may yet face.
MicroTech shares the
belief that if we are to insure a healthy future, then we
must learn from the past. With this thought in mind, let us
reflect on the survivors of the great plague that ravaged
much of Europe. We need to ask ourselves a very poignant
question, “Why did so many perish when in their midst many
survived, despite the fact that they were also exposed to
the same disease?”
The answer lies in the fact that
the survivors were able to rely unknowingly on what we will
refer to as “natural immunity”. This is the body’s ability
to call on its own resources to counteract the detrimental
effects of microbes bent on their own survival, at the
expense of their hosts.
The fact that there exists such
a thing as “natural immunity”, poses the obvious question,
“How can we encourage this activity in the human body?” The
answer lies in an abundance of scientific research which
points to the importance of maintaining healthy levels of
beneficial bacteria, referred to as Flora. It is
estimated that a healthy colon should contain as much as
three pounds of these beneficial bacteria in order to
facilitate effective immune countermeasures.
If the threat of widespread
plague in the modern era is to be taken seriously, then it
would be considered irresponsible to ignore the abundance of
research. This research points to the detrimental
effects of combining long term use of so called acid
blocking drugs in combination with excessive use of
antibiotics. These findings have been confirmed in such
well respected publications as Lancit and Gut in
Great Britain and The New England Journal of
Medicine in the United States.
It is not the intention of
MicroTech to suggest that the responsible use of
Antibiotics are to be circumvented in favor of Probiotics,
when deemed necessary by a licensed physician. But
rather that a prescription for Antibiotics be accompanied by
responsible Probiotic replenishment, such as that found in
MicroTech’s Probiotic Flora Formula.
Probiotic Flora Formula provides the body with essential
“friendly bacteria” in the colon that are necessary
for the proper function of the immune system.
MicroTech is aware that
physicians are increasingly recognizing the importance of
long term disturbances in the gastrointestinal tract. These
disturbances play in the development of many chronic
conditions such as Crohn’s Disease, Candida, Irritable Bowel
Syndrome, gas, bloating, cramps, migraines, asthma,
allergies and auto immune disease.
When functioning normally a
healthy colon, populated with “friendly bacteria”,
has the ability to develop the necessary antibodies to fight
disease and allergies. But the consumption of carbonated
beverages, laxatives, hormone replacement, birth control
pills, coffee, aging and antibiotics are factors which often
result in a high rate of attrition for the “friendly
bacteria”. These rates of attrition leaves the
“friendly bacteria” levels dangerously low, at which
point the body becomes more susceptible to disease and
chronic conditions.
MicroTech’s Probiotic
Flora Formula fulfills the role of Flora
replenishment by supplying a sporiferous preparation of
Lactobacillus Sporogenes.
Why Lactobacillus Sporogenes?
Lactobacillus Sporogenes is a true Probiotic because it
fulfills the following requirements:
1. Excellent Stability:
Stable towards heat, acids, bile, high moisture, oxygen, and
other antibacterials, which means there is no need for
expensive processes such as Lynophilization (storing under
nitrogen) in order to preserve viable bacterial count.
2. Produces L (+) Lactic acid
only, while Acidophilus produces D (-) Lactic acid, also
D (-) Lactic acid is poorly metabolized and can cause
metabolic acidosis.
3. Naturally
microencapsulated (Calcium dipicolinic acid
peptidoglycan complex) and ease of processing.
4. Documented clinical
effectiveness compared to documented ineffectiveness of
Acidophilus.
5. Stable in terms of
viable bacterial count, favorable proliferating rate
in the intestinal tract, and superior lactic acid
producing capacity.
6. Compatible with
vitamins, minerals, enzymes, electrolytes, proteins, amino
acids, drugs, etc.
7.
Sporogenes is not artificially made resistant
Lactobacilli, but naturally microencapsulated. Lactobacilli
artificially made resistant bacteria can be potentially
hazardous due to “Resistance Transfer Factor” (RTF).

To provide a means of replenishment of beneficial bacteria,
Flora, particularly when antibiotics are prescribed.
The L (+) lactic acid produced by Lactobacillus Sporogenes
inhibits the growth of pathogens and stabilizes the normal
flora without risk of metabolic acidosis.

Each capsule yields no less than 6.20 billion organisms of
Lactobacillus Sporogenes, Dicalcum Phosphate,
Microcrystaline Cellulose.
